INSIDE THE U-BORA TOWER COMPLEX
Located in the middle of the Business Bay development in Dubai, the 250 meter high U-Bora Tower Complex is dedicated to predominantly office and residential uses with space dedicated to retail. Although the building anchors the area in its own right, it’s located across from the 462 meter high Burj Alam, one of the tallest buildings in the region.
The buildings of the U-Bora Tower Complex twist as they reach into the sky. According to Aedas, “As the tower increase in height its four faces respond directly to their three dimensional context. They all twist at varying degrees and angles to re-orient their faces to maximize available views.”
The north side of the development features breathtaking, unobstructed views of the water. The south and west facing sides of the buildings offer views of the water as well as the city.
The U-Bora Tower Complex project has won several awards. It was honored for Best Architecture and Best Development by the CNBC Arabian Residential Property Awards in 2009. That same year, the development was honored with the Best Mixed Use Development Award and the Architecture Award by the CNBC Arabian Commercial Property Awards.
